From June 14 to 17, 2026, the 17th Congress of the European Federation of Societies for Microsurgery (EFSM 2026) was held in Prague, Czech Republic. As one of the influential international academic conferences in the field of microsurgery in Europe, the congress brought together microsurgeons, clinical institutions, and innovative medical technology companies from Europe, North America, and the Asia-Pacific region to exchange insights on cutting-edge developments in microsurgical reconstruction, supermicrosurgery, nerve repair, and robot-assisted precision surgery.

At EFSM 2026, KouTech showcased its independently developed Kai Microsurgical Robot for the first time at a major European international academic platform and engaged in extensive discussions with clinical experts from around the world. With its compact system architecture, multi-degree-of-freedom precision instruments, and strong adaptability to clinical environments, Kai received positive feedback from international experts and medical institutions, laying a solid foundation for future global collaboration.

During the congress, microsurgeons and hospital representatives from the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, the United States, Singapore, and other countries had the opportunity to experience the Kai system firsthand. Experts responded positively to its natural and intuitive operation, stable motion control, motion scaling, and tremor filtering capabilities, highlighting its potential to further enhance precision and control in complex microsurgical procedures.

Focusing on the evolving landscape of robot-assisted precision surgery, KouTech also hosted a dedicated technical exchange session on Kai, presenting the company’s latest innovations in microscale motion control, precision surgical instrument design, and robotic platform technologies.

Throughout EFSM 2026, KouTech held in-depth discussions with a number of European clinical centers, academic institutions, and expert teams regarding clinical research, surgeon training, technology collaboration, and regional market development. Moving forward, the company will continue to advance the clinical evaluation and validation of Kai internationally and work closely with global partners to promote the development of robot-assisted microsurgery and introduce new solutions for precision surgery.

KouTech remains committed to continuous technological innovation and deeper international collaboration. By further advancing its microsurgical robotic platform and precision medical technologies, the company aims to provide safer, more precise, and more efficient medical solutions for patients around the world.
