  In 2025, the Annual Meeting of the Taiwan Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery (TSRM) was held in Taiwan. The congress was jointly organized by the Taiwan Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery (TSRM), Japanese Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery (JSRM), and Korean Society for Microsurgery (KSM), and hosted by Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital.As one of the influential international academic meetings in the field of reconstructive microsurgery in Asia, the congress brought together microsurgeons, clinical experts, researchers, and industry representatives from across Asia, Europe, North America, and other regions. Participants exchanged insights into emerging technologies and future developments in nerve reconstruction, functional reconstruction, robot-assisted microsurgery, and other advanced areas of the field.

  At TSRM 2025, KouTech showcased its independently developed Kai Microsurgical Robot on the international stage and organized hands-on surgeon training and system demonstration sessions.In an environment designed to reflect real-world clinical workflows, international experts were able to operate and experience Kai firsthand. The demonstrations provided a comprehensive introduction to KouTech’s latest innovations in robot-assisted microsurgery and attracted numerous international specialists and representatives from medical institutions to the company’s booth for further discussion.

  Throughout the congress, microsurgery experts from Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Europe, North America, and other regions gained hands-on experience with the Kai system. Discussions covered emerging trends in robot-assisted microsurgery, applications in complex microsurgical reconstruction, and opportunities for future international collaboration.Several experts highlighted Kai’s ability to integrate efficiently into existing surgical workflows, as well as its natural and intuitive operation, stable and precise motion control, and adaptability to clinical environments. These capabilities demonstrate Kai’s potential to provide more efficient and safe technological support for complex microsurgical procedures.

  During the hands-on training sessions, Kai’s highly compact platform architecture, rapid setup capability, and miniaturized multi-degree-of-freedom instruments received particularly positive feedback from participating experts.The system is designed not only to support the precision required for superficial microsurgical procedures, but also to provide excellent accessibility and stable control within deep and narrow surgical fields, offering a more flexible robotic solution for complex microsurgical reconstruction.

  During the congress, international experts also engaged in in-depth discussions with the KouTech team regarding Kai’s clinical applications, surgeon training programs, and future platform development. Positive feedback was received regarding the maturity of the system and its potential for future international adoption.These exchanges further strengthened KouTech’s relationships with microsurgery experts across Asia and the international community, while laying a solid foundation for future clinical research and international collaboration.
