   From October 14 to 15, 2025, the 13th Annual Meeting of Robotic Assisted Microsurgical & Endoscopic Society (RAMSES 2025) was held in Kagoshima, Japan.As an important international academic meeting in the field of robot-assisted microsurgery, RAMSES 2025 brought together experts and researchers in microsurgery, supermicrosurgery, and robotic surgery from around the world. Participants exchanged insights into the latest technological advances and clinical applications of robot-assisted microsurgery and explored future directions for the next generation of robotic microsurgery.

   At RAMSES 2025, KouTech showcased its independently developed Kai Microsurgical Robot, presenting the company’s latest innovations in robot-assisted microsurgery to an international audience.Featuring a compact robotic platform, high-precision motion control, and strong adaptability to clinical environments, Kai emerged as one of the innovative technologies attracting significant attention during the congress. Numerous international experts and representatives from medical institutions visited the KouTech booth to experience the system firsthand and exchange perspectives with the company’s team.

   During the congress, microsurgeons, clinicians, and representatives from medical centers in Japan, France, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, and other countries gained hands-on experience with the Kai system.In-depth discussions focused on emerging trends in robot-assisted microsurgery, potential applications in complex microsurgical reconstruction, and opportunities for future international collaboration.Several experts highlighted Kai’s stable and precise operating performance, natural and intuitive control, and strong potential for future clinical applications, recognizing its potential to meet the practical requirements of high-standard clinical environments.

   Professor Isao Koshima, a special guest at the congress and an internationally renowned expert in microsurgery, also engaged in in-depth discussions with the KouTech team.The discussions addressed key topics including operational stability in deep and narrow surgical fields, precision control during lengthy microsurgical procedures, and the standardization of surgeon training for robot-assisted microsurgery.Professor Koshima responded positively to Kai’s innovations in engineering design and its clinical-oriented development, and recognized the system’s potential to serve as a strong foundation for further international clinical collaboration and broader future applications.

   Through its participation in RAMSES 2025, KouTech further strengthened its engagement and collaboration with microsurgery experts and medical institutions worldwide, while continuing to enhance Kai’s visibility and presence within the international robot-assisted microsurgery community.Moving forward, KouTech will remain committed to independent technological innovation, deepen international clinical collaboration and evidence-based research, and continue to advance the research, development, and evolution of its microsurgical robotic technologies.
